SUNDAY 12TH FEBRUARY—L.C.C.C. Godfrey COST $ 17.00 pp

We will be seeing ‘THE COURTHOUSE STEPS’ at Hathaway Hall put on by G.A.C.A. This is a group of St. Louis singing attorneys who poke fun at national and local events taken from the headlines. The concert starts at 3:00 p.m. and we ask that you be seated before that time.  Tickets will be handed out by someone from Friends & Neighbors at the door. Also seating is assigned for Friends & Neighbors. It is easier to come in at the back of Hathaway Hall through the lower entrance.

DEADLINE FOR THIS ACTIVITY IS THE 10TH FEBRUARY.


THURSDAY 23RD FEBRUARY—Resurrection Lutheran Church COST $ 15.00 pp

We will be having our first luncheon of the New Year at Resurrection. Lunch will begin at 12:00 NOON and catered by JoDanni’s of Benld with entertainment by the Alton High School Choral group, Celebrations, following the luncheon.

DEADLINE FOR THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE 16TH FEBRUARY.


SATURDAY 3RD MARCH— L.C.C.C. COST $ 17.00 pp

G.A.C.A. is bringing the Ambassadors of Harmony to Hathaway Hall. Please note that this is a Saturday evening concert which starts at 7 p.m. and we are expected to be seated by that time.

DEADLINE FOR THIS ACTIVITY IS FRIDAY, 2ND MARCH.


WEDNESDAY 7TH MARCH— The Sheldon, St. Louis, Mo. COST $ 26.00 pp

This is a special ‘coffee concert’ and we will be seeing the St. Louis Ragtimers 50th Anniversary.  Featuring Trebor Tichenor on piano, Al Striker on banjo, Bill Mason on trumpet and Don Franz  on tuba, the St. Louis Ragtimers perform a dynamic style of ragtime and Dixieland jazz. One of the city’s greatest cultural treasures, the group formed in 1961 to play on the St. Louis riverboats, and since then, they have performed continuously at festivals and concerts around the world! Sounds like a toe-tapping, rip-roaring time. After the concert we are planning to have lunch on ‘The Hill’ at Favazza’s and lunch will be at your own expense.

Bus will leave Resurrection at 8:30 a.m. SHARP.

SATURDAY 7th APRIL —The Peabody Opera House COST $ 45.00 pp.

We will be seeing Fiddler on the Roof in the newly renovated Peabody (formerly Kiel) Opera House.  This is a matinee performance. Bus will be leaving Resurrection at 12:30 p.m.

SUNDAY 22ND APRIL — L.C.C.C., Godfrey COST $ 17.00 pp.

The Cornet Chop Suey Jazz Band has enjoyed a meteoric rise in popularity since its arrival on the jazz scene in 2001. Best known for a wide variety of styles, Cornet Chop Suey applies its own exciting style to traditional jazz, swing, blues and “big production” numbers. Every performance by Cornet Chop Suey is a high-energy presentation and it’s always a memorable experience for the audience. The concert sponsored by G.A.C.A. starts at 3:00 p.m. and we ask that you be seated before that time. Tickets will be handed out by someone from Friends & Neighbors at the door. Also seating is assigned for Friends & Neighbors. It is easier to come in at the back of Hathaway Hall through the lower entrance.

DEADLINE FOR THIS EVENT IS 20th APRIL.
